Set within a maritime Mediterranean context, the house is defined by a sequence of shifting relationships to the ground, as well as varying levels of sun and shade, exposure and intimacy. Conceived as a compact cluster of interconnected yet autonomous living units, the house allows different generations of a family to share a common domestic setting while maintaining distinct private zones. The focal points of the house are its outdoor spaces – terraces and courtyards – in direct contact with the surrounding pine trees and the distant horizon, where everyday life extends into the landscape.
