Set on elevated terrain above the city, the house occupies a demanding site formed through the subdivision of a larger family plot. While the existing house remains home to the older generation, a new dwelling is introduced for the younger part of the family, a couple with three children. The project negotiates steep topography and a dense residential context, carefully controlling scale so the house does not appear oversized. Through its positioning and spatial organization, it establishes a clear visual and functional relationship with the existing house and, despite the surrounding density, succeeds in capturing views towards the city.
